Each talk is 60min and will include a presentation, followed by Q&A.

For Webinar formats, participants will not have access to a camera or microphone, but will be able to offer comments and ask questions through a chat feature.

When we are within our window of tolerance, we are better able to learn, connect with others, think clearly and creatively, and act according to our values.

Unlocking ADHD: A Deep Dive into the Unique Challenges for Women and Girls

Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that has beencommonly known to affect male children. Research shows that ADHD in girls and women is becoming more recognized, but many are still unaware of how it affects them. This webinar will dive into the challenges women face due to underdiagnosis or being misdiagnosed, and how these issues can negatively impact mental health and quality of life. Today, we are often thrown into the race of daily life, constantly competing and rushing to accomplish our goals. Amid this continual rush, we can sometimes forget ourselves and our needs. We often forget the importance of slowing down and the calm and balance that this can restore to our lives.

In the webinar, you will learn:

  • A better understanding of self-care and what this term means

  • The variety of ways in which self can be applied within life

  • How to pick up and notice signs from your body that it’s time to slow down

  • Various simple and small strategies and techniques to assist you in slowing down

  • Most of all, how to take care of yourself throughout the hustle and bustle of everyday life!
